HR Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY:

This position performs a wide range of human resources tasks related to administration of employee records and benefits, setting-up phone screens, and maintenance of and update to employee policies.


JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintaining human resource employee records, filing.
  • Recruiting:
    • Scheduling phone screens/interviews.
    • Posting internal and external job descriptions.
    • Completing New Hire paperwork.
    • Completing New Hire Orientation paperwork.
    • Writing New Hire announcements.
    • Updating Recruiting spreadsheet.
  • Responding to employee requests about benefits, vacation, holidays.
  • Back-up for Reception.
  • Special projects.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Public Administration, Human Resources, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, attention to detail, and strong follow-up.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Must embody approachability and instill trust in others.
  • Must be able to maintain open communication and escalate issues and concerns to direct supervisors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
